September/October News

Hi guys and girls how time flies, its October already!
As you may have noticed there has been some work going on in the gym but we have done our best to keep classes going and work in the smaller space, so thanks for your patience.
The second floor will allow for a larger gym area and extend the matted space available for classes. This means more classes and more space in the busier sessions, so keep an eye out for changes and additions to the current time table! Please vote on what classes you would like to see more of

MMA

SFC FIGHT NIGHT
Congrats to all the guys and girls that competed on the 9th of September Fight night on the Pier (sponsored by Alpha health and Fitness). The night was a perfect show case of all the hard work that everyone had put in with all the title belts brought home and exciting action packed fights from everyone. Following the success of this event the next fight night will be on December 9th so watch this space!

UCMMA Contenders
Its just 5 weeks to go till UCMMA contenders where Tolly, Liam, Lennie and Rach will be fighting. The contenders show will be on Sunday 6th of November tickets are available if you want to come support the fighters. Check out everyone’s fighters in focus videos on youtube.

Also a quick shout out and congratulations to Oli Thompson for his UFC contract! Make sure to join in on Oli’s MMA class on Thursdays, Oli will be fighting on the UFC on the 5th November.

BJJ
Well done again for all of you that took part in the grading and congratulations to those of you that changed belts and got some more stripes. BJJ class in going from strength to strength! If anyone would like to compete in the British Nogi Open please sign up to the list in reception, this is a great chance for everyone to step up they’re game.

BOXING AND MUAY THAI

Muay Thai with James is the latest addition to the 1st gen repertoire so make sure you come check out a class if you haven’t already! Well done to James for a great fight and preparing Jessie and Karl for their first Muay Thai fights. Zak also represented the gym in a boxing match.
